I am Tarek Khelfa doctor. I received my Ph.D. degree in October 2017 from Sfax University, Sfax, Tunisia. I started my career as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Sciences of Sfax, University of Sfax. Currently, I am working as an assistant professor in School of Energy and Electromechanical Engineering at Hunan University of Humanities, Science and Technology (HUHST), Hunan, China. I joined HUHST in the spring semester of 2021. Prior to this, I worked as a Postdoc at Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi'an China. I also worked at the Academic School of Excellence (Ariana-Tunisia) as an assistant professor from 2016-2018. I also did many trainings in some European universities such as Institute for Molecules and Materials (IMM) of Orsay, French (2016) and Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain (2013-2015). I published many articles in peer-reviewed journals and I participated in some international conferences. I am further serving as a reviewer for various reputed international conferences and journals. I am interested in working in any challenging field of metallurgy and doing my best. My research is dedicated to investigations of microstructural evolution and mechanical property changes during deformation including processes of severe plastic deformation; assessment of microstructural alterations using different methods such as electron-backscattered diffraction (EBSD) and crosslinking them to the changes in the mechanical properties. My success in professional life is due to my discipline and punctuality. I am a nature and music lover. Also, I read books on diverse topics and play football.
